Price gouging
Had roadside service done today. Was price gouged beyond belief. Had one coolant hose changed. Charged $169.99 for the hose itself from South Dallas Kenworth. I called the same KW and hose sells for $103.00. Disappeared for 2.25 hrs to go get the hose. Mechanics used 7 gallons of Shop Pro Universal coolant and topped off with water from another coolant jug. Charged for 10 gallons of coolant. My trucks entire coolant capacity is 10 gallons. Charged $31.99 per gallon for a total of $319.90 in coolant alone. The coolant used is $14.99 per gallon at the auto parts store. $17 per gallons mark up. $1594.89 to replace one $103.00 hose and add coolant back. Will not use again.
